1. Old Business

   1. New cemetery section progress

      1. Letter has been penned and sent to local funeral homes.

   2. Tax exemption status

      1. Currently at standstill; records have been sent.

   3. Soldier Circle update

      1. Final stone has been set by Ellis.

      2. Two markers are unable to be updated due to incorrect original records of service.

   4. Grant updates

      1. Rick Brennan had met with Senator Jay Costa, but status is yet unknown.

   5. Meetings with State Leaders

      1. No further contact has yet been able to be established with other local politicians.

   6. University of Pittsburgh Graduate Partnership

      1. Meetings between the graduate students and Board Members and volunteers have continued, and the students are beginning to form ideas for their project.

1. New Business

   1. Chapel fundraising

      1. Letter is being finalized by Kyra Mangold-Ostovich and will be circulated on social media, to local funeral homes, and businesses to start.

   2. House restoration work schedule

      1. Student workers have been making quick progress with gutting the future sales office.

      2. Basement

         1. Painting has been started by Kyra. All cinderblock walls are to be covered with Dry-Loc paint, followed by a coat of interior white paint.

         2. Remaining wooden framing from previous gutting of wood paneling is to be removed.

         3. Floor will be thoroughly cleaned and sealed/waxed.

   3. Furniture donation

      1. Mrs. Elizabeth Hess has generously donated her late husbands office furniture to use throughout the sales office and Board office areas.

   4. New cell phone

      1. A new smart phone was been purchased and has the capacity to run credit cards during future sales meetings. It's estimated that it will be about $75 monthly.

   5. Fall Workers Program

      1. Two additional students have signed on, totaling 6.

   6. Committal report

      1. Interments - 1

      2. Inurnments - 2

      3. Year to date: 14 total

   7. Perpetual Care Fund

      1. Low risk mutual fund was opened on 27 Sep 2022.

      2. 25% set in bonds, 25% in blue chip stock, and 50% in moderate risk stock.

      3. Half of any committal fee, monument/footer fee, or property sale will be placed in perpetual care.

         1. This will accrue funds from stocks, bonds, etc., and will grow over time.

         2. This ensures the Cemetery will NEVER again fall into bankruptcy.

   8. Section mapping/photographing

      1. Christine Schott has finished photographing ALL of the Old Sections within the Cemetery! She will be working on completing map of the sections over the next few months.

THE FINAL MEETING OF THE 2022 CALENDAR YEAR

WILL BE HELD IN NOVEMBER.
